About
Hello friends, My name is Lisa. Calligraphy has always been my passion as words are very important to me. Beautifully presented lettering helps gives a significant moment its weight. I started by creating personalised gifts and bespoke items, and then branching out into the wedding movement. In my personal work, you'll find a lot of native Australian flowers, flourishes, and classic colour schemes, as this is what I am drawn to. However, I love bringing your ideas to life. Message me!

All orders are custom made and personalised. We work with printers and wedding planners around Australia and internationally to add calligraphy touches to your project- from writing a name, to envelope addressing. If you are designing your project yourself, we will be happy to add calligraphy to it as you please.
We do our best to accommodate your vision. If we think there will be a design issue, we will let you know and we can come up with a solution together. If you prefer for us to make a project with our own vision, we will ask you a few questions to fully understand your event, theme, and purpose.
All orders come securely packaged. Upon receipt, please ensure that you handle the piece carefully. Certain papers can be fragile, please handle carefully.
As calligraphy takes time to create, we encourage that each project is booked in with us in advance so that we can give it the time it deserves. A rush order can be done, but attracts a rush order fee.
I am happy to provide calligraphy for parts of your invitations- for example, the bride and groom's names, or a return address to be printed on the back of envelopes.

Expert Advice
As a wedding professional, Ardently Yours Designs offers expert advice to help couples plan their perfect day. Ask a question or read their expert advice.
Get Expert AdviceWhat's the etiquette for who gets to invite a plus-one and who doesn't?
Do guests always expect that their partners will be invited to the wedding? We need to cut back numbers. Is there a nice way of saying this on our invitations? Would love some advice pls.
Ardently Yours Designs
Guests are fairly understanding about numbers and who is invited. It's really up to you whether you want all guests to bring a plus one, or if you only allocate plus ones to some people.
An easy way to do this is to address the envelope to the people invited. For example, an envelope addressed to 'Mr and Mrs Smith' only invites the two of them, while an envelope addressed to 'The Smith Family' invites Mr and Mrs Smith along with their three children. An envelope addressed to 'Miss Mariah Jones' only invites her, and an envelope addressed to 'Miss Mariah Jones' and guest' invites her and her guest. If a guest has a specific partner that you're inviting, go ahead and write their names on the envelope. If you'd like to be extra clear about the plus one, you can mention on an information card that only named guests are invited.

Hi,
It really depends on your supplier.
I would start enquiring as soon as you have the bigger details of your wedding planned. (Venue, reception, times, before and after events, etc).
Depending on your supplier, it takes 2-8 weeks to design an invitation, 1-2 weeks to print, 1-2 weeks to assemble the invitations.
If you wanted bespoke items, for example, envelope calligraphy, I would leave more time again.
Hope this has been helpful, please do not hesitate to contact if you need any help.
Kind regards,
Lisa @CamelliaCreatives
When do send out save the day cards?
Ardently Yours Designs
Hi Nadia,
Usually as soon as you know the date and venue of your big day, you can send out Save the Date cards.
I usually organise for 6 months prior to the date. If you have many overseas guests, or are having a destination wedding, 12 months prior is fine too.
Considering the travel restrictions imposed on many states and countries recently, earlier is better, so your guests can plan accordingly.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Kind regards,
Lisa @CamelliaCreatives
