About

My background is corporate, graphic designer, office manager, pa, function facilitator. I began this business over 12 years ago as I love art, IT, design - basically all aspects of design. I decided to put my skills to use for the invitation / bridal industry for that reason. I love working with clients to accomplish the best end result for their occasion in the most professional and skilled fashion. I run my business like a boutique organisation with a personal one on one touch. Marie

FAQ

The simple answer is no. You can easily incorporate your email, phone number or even a website. These can be printed on the bottom of the main wording or on the reverse side of your invitation, depending of course on design. This process will save you quite a bit of money that can go towards other items you might need such as menus, place cards.

I am very much into supporting local business as well as sustainable materials. 80% are recycled papers, you have a choice of shimmer, cotton and natural papers from 250gsm weight thickness to 1mm our thickest.

No not necessarily. There are a few different options that would save you money by either sending your invitations early which is one option. Another is email or text your guests with a save the date template you can create or I can help you create. It is something that I am quite happy to discuss with you if you want.

How can I get our guests to RSVP to our wedding?

What's the best plan for getting our guests to actually RSVP to our wedding? We thought it would be a no brainer. Any tips welcome!!

BW Reporter

Hi, it can be difficult and at times frustrating for the bride and groom not to receive rsvp promptly and that is a common problem.  Unfortunately there is no particular easy way.

What I suggest is that rsvp are made 5-6 weeks prior to your event that way you have ample time to start calling around for those responses. Or you could do a general text message and attach everyone that has not responded and send it out once as a group msg, but remember make it friendly and not pushy!

Oh and totally forgot to mention the best way for rsvp's is phone, as they can text there answer or call - some people find emails still too difficult and print versions way too much time and effort. QR codes are great if you have further information for them like a destination wedding.

When's the ideal time to order wedding invitations?

BW Reporter

The ideal time to order (which includes drafting of designs) is 3 - 4 months prior to event. This gives you time for finalisation of guest list as well you can give your guests a little extra time to organise any babysitting.

What wedding stationery trends are coming up?

Hi there, what do you predict will be in/popular for wedding invitations and stationery in 2024/25? Are there any unique trends you've spotted?

BW Reporter

Nothing beats like simplicity.  Keep your invitations simple even with graphic themes. Black & White is always elegant and creates a wow factor all on it's own. You don't need lot's of stationery keep information all in one card, as the back can be used for QR codes, rsvp details, as well as gift suggestion wording!

We create 1.6mm thickness in our flat invitations, with wax style printing, the cost remains low without comprimising quality!
