Should I send out invites if we are only having 30 people at our wedding?

I always think it's lovely to do so. We do not charge a premium for small numbers - all of our invitations are designed specifically for the client and providing you don't make design changes to the original one chosen then no additional cost for wording/date changes .

What info do I need to put on my wedding invitations?

Hello

Congratulations on your pending marriage. The invitations can have as much or as little information on them as want - there is no standard. We do not work to a template as all of our invitations are specifically designed for each client. Generally you have your names (plus parents if a formal invitation or if parents contribute financially), date and time of ceremony and reception venue and RSVP date. In some cases a dress code is also included.

Some of my clients choose to include just their names, date and time of Ceremony and Reception on the main section of the invitation, then have a separate RSVP card, location map if applicable and Wishing Well card. Others choose not to have an RSVP card and put a phone and or email for the RSVP. It all depends on how formal you want your invitations to be.

When do you send out invitations? How far in advance should RSVPS be?

Hi Rachel

I usually recommend sending invites out 3 months before the wedding and setting the RSVP date 6 weeks before the wedding. That gives you plenty of time to send out a second group of invites if you get some early NO's. It seems terrible to have an A and B list but with the expense associated with weddings you have to make some difficult decisions. We usually offer our couples to send adfitional invites at the cost of the originals and even change the RSVP date without extra charge. Happy to help further.
