One Big Day Event Hire is a family owned and operated business which was created due to our mutual love for party planning and entertaining family and friends.

The idea came after planning our wedding and sourcing vintage and rustic products and props to use for our big day. We wanted to make our big day visually spectacular and memorable for us, our family and friends.

After all the positive feedback we received and requests by family and friends to borrow our products, we decided this was a fantastic opportunity to help others celebrate their "One Big Day”. So we established the One Big Day Event Hire business.

We cater for all occasions so whether your event is for a wedding, an engagement party, a hen’s party, a baby shower, a special birthday party or just a family gathering we have wonderful products that can inspire you and help to make your day extra special.

We have beautiful vintage Hi Tea packages, Yummy Lolly buffets packages, rustic furniture, wine barrel for decorations or for use as a bar, glassware, vintage games and lots more to enhance your special occasion.

Very prompt communication, and ensured all questions were answered as soon as possible. On the day, they were very professional, with setup & pack down being done without much fuss. Bond was also returned very quickly. Overall, everything was done professionally, and helped the day be that much more seamless.

I hired several things for my wedding day and had no problems with them. They were very prompt at replying to my emails and updating any changes I had to my hire items. They liaised with my venue for drop off and pick up on the day and I didn’t even see them! They set everything up as I requested and on the day everything was perfect! 😊

These guys were great! Their website was easy to navigate, and everything looked like their photos! The lawn games were a hit with our guests and the chalk boards for messages for bridal party photos went down well! Even our photographer liked them! Definitely recommend!
