Hello, my name is Sarah and I am a Hair Stylist and Make-Up artist based in the Macarthur Region, NSW. I offer a professional, reliable and friendly mobile service to your venue so you can relax and enjoy all the special moments before you say "I do".

I offer a luxury service at modest prices. Brands I use include Lorac, Urban Decay, Smashbox, Harlotte Cosmetics, Hourglass, Nars, Tarte, Laura Gellar, Laura Mercier, and Anastasia Beverly Hills to name a few.

Your wedding day is a very exciting time, and of course you want to look and feel your best. My approach to Makeup and Hair is to enhance the natural beauty of my clients, making them the red carpet version of themselves. I am passionate about my work and I use cruelty free products to ensure you feel radiant inside and out.

I use a multi-layered approach to make-up application to ensure complete wear throughout the day even in those summer months. I take in to consideration all skin types before applying any product for a look to be completely achieved. I tailor make a look for you so your look is unique and structured to your colour story, from your dress to your flowers.

Asides from weddings I also cater for all special occasions, from formals to engagements and events.

I trained with the Makeup Technicians in Sydney and since graduating have worked on tv and film sets, music videos, advertisements, catwalk shows, fashion shoots, look books, promotional events, weddings and special effects. I love what I do and I love to bring my creativity to your special day.

can makeup artists cover tattoos?

like i said in my other question, i dont know much about makeup so this might be a silly question. i have a few small tattoos id like to hide on my wedding day. will my makeup artist cover them for me? is this a usual bridal request? and should this be included in her price?

Hi Kessia,

Covering tattoos is definitely something all professional make-up artists should be able to do and it is a very common request from a lot of Brides, their maids and family members. Depending on which artist you go for, tattoo coverage may be charged separately but I personally include this service as part of the make-up service at no extra charge. If you are thinking of a larger area though, say a back tattoo if you are wearing a backless gown, then depending on the size of the tattoo an additional charge may be quoted. Covering tattoos is actually a very fun and skillful job to do which I personally enjoy.

what am i asking for when i ask my makeup artist for 'bridal makeup' ?

im not really a girly girl, so i dont know anything about makeup. i dont know what im asking for when i ask my makeup artist for the bridal look. and will they know what colours will look best with my dress/flowers/with my skin? i honestly dont know what to expect out of this appointment and would love an explanation

Bridal Make-Up can cover a myriad of looks and styles and it really does boil down to individual preference as some women like a heavier more defined look, and others a simple glowing natural look. I recommend visiting an artists website and seeing their previous work. If you like what they have done on other Brides, schedule in a trial or have an initial chat on the phone about your expectations. I cannot recommend having a trial enough as you want to know that you have picked the right person and right look for your big day. A professional artist will ask all the right questions about your dress, bridesmaids dresses, colours of the flowers etc... and your colouring too to know what tones work with you and the colour scheme. You don't have to be a girly girl or know anything about Make-Up. Bridal Make-Up is a specialist industry and the right professional will work with you to make sure that your desired look is achieved for your wedding.

who usually pays for the bridesmaids makeup?

This is a really interesting question as quite often, especially in today's modern industry, the Bridesmaids have covered the cost for their own hair and makeup. However, there are no strict requirements for this, but traditionally Brides do front the cost for all Hair and Makeup. Sometimes Brides may choose to cover everyone's make-up but the cost for hair would be on the bridesmaids. The bridesmaids are normally the closest people to the Bride and would understand if she had a budget, so I personally believe it comes down to how well you understand each other and come to an arrangement which suits everyone without any hassles.
