During my 17 years within the industry I studied Corneotherapy (Skin science), I have a deep knowledge in regards to prepping your skin for your big day (I also put all this into an e-book for you to purchase). I have trained with some of the industries best when it comes to hair & make-up; Mia Connor, Sharon Blain, Lorna Evans & more, as well as working along side the very talented Chereine Waddell. Georgie and her 2 ladies who did hair and makeup for my wedding for myself,my bridesmaids,flowergirl, and mother of the bride were amazing!! They came to us which made it super easy for us and nothing was too much trouble. They made my special day stress free. I would recommend these wonderful ladies to any future bride 👰‍♂

Georgie did mine, and my bridal parties, hair and makeup for my wedding on 23 September. She travelled interstate, on windy, dirt roads, to arrive onsite at our family farm early in the morning. Each of us, being involved in weddings before, had never been given an easy-to-understand guide for skin and hair preparation the night before the event, except with Georgie. This made SO much difference to our timings on the day and to our finished look; with one of my bridesmaid’s sleeping in her hair and makeup and waking up as if Georgie had redone it on the Sunday morning! The end result was so incredible, with the children at the wedding telling each other there was an actual Princess there – thanks to Georgie’s incredible hair styling on me. I absolutely could not have done it without you, Georgie, and appreciate you SO much.

What's better - fake lashes or eyelash extensions?

Hi! Wondering what to do with my lashes for my wedding. Should I get eyelash extensions, or should I ask for false individual lashes? Is there a preference from a makeup artist's perspective too?

Hi there!

I will always recommend letting the artist apply false lashes on the day of your weddng. I personally prefer creating a desired look by using individual lashes as they look more natural & last the whole day/night without any discomfort. I also want to add that if you are leaving for your honeymoon soon after your wedding, you do not need to stress about half of your lashes falling out and needing to get them removed half way through your time away. My favourite topic-SKIN CARE! Recently I wrote an E-book explaining the importance of skin care atleast 12 months out from your wedding. As a skin therapist as well as make-up artist, I can't stress enough the importance of a good routine AND quality skin care. Not all Skin care is 'skin care'. Find yourself a skin therapist you can trust and you will be absolutely glowing on your big day! xx
