Personally I DO recommend having a trial. But the answer lies with you. If you, as a Bride-to-be, are extremely carefree about hair and makeup, or you’re on a budget, perhaps running out of time, then maybe a trial isn’t for you.
If you decide to have a trial, it’s really both for you and for me. You get to see my work and not have any surprises on the wedding day. You also get to test out how the hair and makeup will last on you for an entire day. You also can take your own photographs to see wether or not the strength of makeup can be intensified for the actual day. And in turn: I get time to know your hair and makeup preferences, establish a look that you are 100% happy with, record your wedding day “look” and also be able to finish your makeup a lot faster on the day… because I know exactly what you’d like me to do.
I usually do travel to you as i am a freelance based makeup artist - however when working alongside my hairdresser it is easier to all be done at the salon.

like i said in my other question, i dont know much about makeup so this might be a silly question. i have a few small tattoos id like to hide on my wedding day. will my makeup artist cover them for me? is this a usual bridal request? and should this be included in her price?

Yes. However it does depend on the size / colour etc, but it is something all professional makeup artists should be able to do.
This will incur an extra fee as it is tedious work and uses extra product.
what am i asking for when i ask my makeup artist for 'bridal makeup' ?
im not really a girly girl, so i dont know anything about makeup. i dont know what im asking for when i ask my makeup artist for the bridal look. and will they know what colours will look best with my dress/flowers/with my skin? i honestly dont know what to expect out of this appointment and would love an explanation

There are so many different companies and people out there and I'm just finding it so difficult to choose. I dont know how much i should be spending and im no makeup expert so i dont know what I'm looking for. I dont know how to decide, what questions should i be asking? what should i be looking for? Also whats the difference between airbrush and traditional? Will airbrush be better if my wedding is in summer? Hellllpppppppp pleaseeeee
