Born in Hong Kong and raised in Perth, Mandy began her hair and makeup career in 2010 while working as an accountant. With 15+ years in the beauty and wedding industry, she is passionate about empowering women to feel confident and beautiful on their special day. If you have a favourite artist and/or stylist you have your heart set on using for your wedding day, I highly recommend you get in contact with them asap. Hair and makeup artists can be booked out anywhere from 6 to 12 months in advance, so to avoid disappointment don't leave it too late in your wedding planning.
It is highly recommended to do a bridal preview for hair and/or makeup.
The bridal preview is an appointment customised for the bride-to-be. Most likely their first time meeting their artist too and will them decide if they are a good fit for each other. You would want to hire an artist that will ensure your wedding day preparation goes smoothly and as stress free as possible.
The appointment includes a 1 on 1 consultation with your artist, to discuss your vision and idea on how you want your hair and/or makeup done for the big day. Testing to ensure the style you had chosen is going to make you happy as well as confident when walking down that aisle to meet your other half.
