I am a professional Sydney makeup artist with over 20 years of experience and have worked on red carpet events, runway fashion shows, magazine fashion shoots, advertising campaigns, TV commercials, music videos and hundreds of weddings.
I am passionate about my craft and most of all I love weddings! What I enjoy most is the transformations I create – from a natural look to a stunning, confident and gorgeous bride.

Every bride deserves to look and feel beautiful on her wedding day. I will help guide you to achieve the exact look you desire whilst still remaining true to your personal style, be it glamorous , classic, beachy or vintage. I only use professional makeup products such as Mac, Nars and Make up Forever.

I offer a session I call ' For Your Eyes Only ' which is a great a gift for your fiance and includes a leather bound album of beautiful sexy photos of you.

I pride my self on getting you ready on time for your professional photographers arrival. Please ask your photographer when they will arrive. It's imperative to be on time, otherwise you cut into your photo time. I want to ensure you get all of the beauty shots prior to the ceremony and to eliminate starting your day with any stress.
My professional make up service takes about 30 mins per person and hair 30-40 mins. We discuss this in detail at your wedding makeup trial.
You will need to touch up your lips through out the wedding day. I use only professional products and techniques that make sure the wedding make up lasts all day long. In hot weather I do sugget having a pressed power foundation with you as well.
Yes , I like the wedding make up to enhance you and not feel like a mask. Your skin will look fresh.
Bring pictures of wedding hair and make up you like the feel of. It doesn't have to to be exact, more to give me a feel for what you are attracted to. We use this as a starting point to work out what will suit you and work for your hair. A picture of your wedding dress is also helpful. Wear a white or cream top.
My professional makeup and hair studio is located in the Inner West suburb of Leichhardt. There is plenty of free parking right out front.
The night before your wedding exfoliate your skin and follow with a hydrating moisturiser. In the morning follow your usual skin routine. Don't apply heavy SPF cream. I will use a suitable SPF that work with make up. Hair should be clean and dry. Do a double shampoo, rinse well and condition mid length to ends. Do not wax closer that 4 days before as make up doesn't adhere to freshly waxed skin.
I work together with other professional hair and makeup artists so large bridal parties or early ceremonies are easily accommodated.

To make you make up last the distance you need to start with a moisturiser to best suit your skin type , folllowed by a correcting primer. The primer will help to create a smoother sufface for your foundation to glide on and give it extra staying power. It important to choose the right primer, eg if you have oily skin you need a mattyfing primer. Setting the foundation with a loose setting powder and finishing it of with a fixing spray will ensure it will last you all day.
How much is an average cost for makeup?
Hi there, I've been quoted around $900 for make up + eyelashes for myself and two bridesmaids and hair for us all plus a blow dry for my mum +$50 travel fee. Another bride has told me that is an outrageous price, so now I'm unsure. Is this an average price for hair and make up or would that be paying above average? Thanks!

I don't think thats an outrageous quote and definitely not above average. Hopefully you are getting an artist with experience and love their work.
Its in the ball park of my fees and I have been doing this for 20 years.

If you always have pufiness under the eyes its best to try and minimise it before the wedidng day.
Find an eye gel that helps to reduce pufiness but what will work best is lymphatic drainage massage to help drain away the access fluid. You can find onlibe videos teaching you a simple routine you can do yourself as its someting best done regularly. Accupuncture is also vey helpfull, so find a a local practitioner to see.
If you wake up looking puffy on the morning of your wedding ,a cool compress like cold tea bags will help to reduce it.
