We embrace the experience of working with the entire wedding party and take pleasure in including your bridesmaids, flower girls and the mother of the bride on your special day and making them feel special as well.
Everything that we do is based upon our many years of experience in the hair and makeup industry and we offer a fantastic friendly service to your door or venue.
We also work with your photographers to ensure we have a smooth - running time schedule.

About
Instyle Hair for Brides was created by Janelle in 2014, a highly experienced hairdresser combining her passion for hair styling and weddings! After running a successful salon for the past 6 years, Janelle faced wrist surgery in 2016 and to hang up her scissors. She now focuses solely on bridal hair and sourced out a close team of very talented hair and makeup artists. The team now comprises of 7 stylists who cover all of Melbourne and surrounding areas to avoid charging our Brides travel fee's.

To ensure smooth running on the most important day of your life, we highly recommend you get both a hair and makeup trial.
A trial gives us time to really get to know you and your visions and dreams of what you want for your wedding day.
It also gives you a chance to make sure you are comfortable wearing your desired look for 12+ hours.
We suggest doing your trial on a day where you are heading out (Engagement party or Hen's) and to provide us with feedback on how well your hair and makeup lasted.
Our brides all feel comfortable knowing we are fully prepared on their wedding day and they trust us so they can enjoy being pampered on their big day.
We come across this question quite often as most pictures online either have clip-in hair extensions or hair padding in them to create such volumous hairstyles.
We have a wonderful hair supplier who can help colour match clip-in extensions if this is what you desire.
Hair extensions will help thicken your hair and add length if you want to wear some of it down.
If you are wanting all your hair in an updo, you can always opt for a hairup where we can use hair padding.
This comes in the same colour as your own hair and we style your hair around it.
As for thin hair at your roots, we have some amazing products that can be blow waved into your hair which thickens up each hairstand and adds lift and hold to your hair.
We always send through an 'On The Day Requirements' pdf a few days before we arrive to remind you when to wash your hair and how to have your skin best prepared.
Face Prep: A makeup-free face is best with some lip balm on your lips to stop them drying out.
Hair Prep: Clean freshly washed hair from the night before with no hair products or straightening irons on the hair. Lightly blow waved to the best that you can do with a brush. If you don't know how to blow wave, as long as your hair is 100% dried with a hairdryer, that is good enough.
Tip- don't allow hair to dry nautrally as it promotes un-wanted oil alot faster.
