About
Christina is a Melbourne freelance makeup artist. Her passion for makeup started when she was working in a women's fashion boutique and she watched with excitement and awe a makeup artist working on a model for the brand's spring campaign. Christina knew this is what she wanted to do!. Christina has completed 4 professional makeup courses from 4 very reputable and popular makeup academies to learn everything she could about makeup. She absolutely loves what she does and loves meeting new clients

Both - I have a home studio and I also travel ( please note a small travel fee may be included depending on location)
All products in my kit are high end. Brands include : Anastasia Beverly Hills, Tarte, Urban Decay, MAC, Inglot, Too Faced, Hourglass, NARS
Please confirm if you have any allergies or skin conditions and I will use appropriate products to cater for you
I also carry vegan and cruelty free products in my kit.

I allow 60 mins max per appointment. This allows for any touch ups, etc
For Bridal trials I like to allow 1 hour 30 mins, as this will also include a quick one on one chat.
Yes! I highly reccomend booking in a trial to ensure that you are 100% happy with the look before your big day.
A lot of brides also bring along their maid of honour/ bridesmaids to trials.
I also offer trials for the maid of honour and bridesmaids to ensure you are happy with the chosen look for them too :)
I reccommend bringing photos of looks you like, as this makes it easier for me to understand what you like.
All trials are done in my home studio. However, If you are unable to travel to me, I am more than happy to travel to you. Please note a small travel fee may be included depending on location

I will sit down with you one on one to discuss looks that you would like for your big day.
I highly recommend that you bring with you photos of makeup looks you would like, this allows me to capture exactly what you are after.
I will go over the products that I will use and make suggestions to best cater for your skin tone / type.
This will give you the peace of mind, knowing what look you will be getting on your big day :)
Any changes can be made on the day to ensure that you are 100% with the look.
Please ensure that your skin is prepped before your appointment.
Exfoliate/moisturise at least a week before. Your makeup will stay and last a lot longer on skin that has been properly prepped.
Brows are important too, so please ensure they are cleaned up, if you are after a defined brow
If you are getting brows waxed , get them done at least 3-4 days before your appointment. Waxing takes a layer of skin which means if you have freshly waxed brows, the foundation may not stick as well to those areas.

It's totally up to you :) If you choose to have bridesmaids, I think it is always nice to share that experience with them, as well as of course mother of the bride, father of the bride and siblings and or close family. After all this is one of the happiest days of your life so sharing this special moment with loved ones will always be treasured. Everybody's budget is different, if you can afford to cover for makeup and hair for your party I think it is a nice gesture.
