From their Beenleigh salon, located between Brisbane and Gold Coast, Blush’d Brides offer a hybrid wedding hair and makeup service for brides, bridesmaids, and the rest of your bride tribe. They specialise in a luxury experience that leaves you and your party feels pampered, from your first trial to that final look before heading off down the aisle. Also a mobile service, they can travel to your venue or pre-wedding location to minimise the travel you need to do on the day.

The Founder, Director & Head Makeup Artist of Blush’d Brides. I live in the southside suburbs of Brisbane with my 2 sons & 2 fur babies. I started Blush’d in 2015. I’ve loved makeup since I was a teen and after studying beauty therapy I found a passion for making others feel beautiful and nurtured. I felt there was a gap in the bridal market for beauty experts who create glowing, effortless looks and a luxury experience so over the years this has become the Blush’d difference.

You will hear from our admin team within 1-2 business days with a personalised quote brochure for your chosen package and information on how to book. We require a 30% deposit to secure your wedding date with our team. Once this is paid, you’ll receive a welcome email and you are all booked with us!
We recommend having your trial any time from 3 months before your special day. This ensures you have a clear vision in mind of how your wedding will look as well as the finer details like your jewelry, hairpiece, veil, flowers, and we can create a look to perfectly complement your style. We’ll be in touch via email 3 months out to remind you to book in!
This depends on the size of your bridal party. For hair and makeup packages with between 4-7 people, we allocate 2 professionals. If your bridal party is 8+ you will have a 3rd or possibly even a 4th professional. Our team can easily cater to large bridal parties by adding additional professionals to look after you. (Please ensure there is adequate space for 3-4 professionals to set up if you have a large group.)
The night before, please cleanse & gently exfoliate your face, apply a hydrating sheet mask (we love the Go-To brand) and moisturise. Wash & blow dry your hair smooth 24 hours beforehand (2 shampoos and condition mid-lengths to ends). This applies to all having their hair/makeup done.
Please also have some inspiration photos ready to show your professionals, preferably from our instagram or website.
For your wedding hair and makeup, we will require an open & well ventilated space with a large table area near natural light & a powerpoint.
We like to encourage our brides to start looking at securing the vendors you love as soon as you have locked in your wedding date with your venue, to avoid disappointment. If you wait, it could mean missing out on a vendor you had your heart set on.
For our bridal team, dates are booking out fast and well in advance. I would recommend providing at least 9-12 months notice, but always enquire with us even if your date is coming up soon. We’ll do everything we can to cater to you if our availability allows.
