Think about the style of your wedding dress. Example: is it strapless has it got straps has it got sleeves has it got one strap does it have an open back is it high necked is it soft and flowing or tight and fitting. Once you have tried on your dress you will get a fair idea how you would like your hair to look. Also consider the environment time of year and also outdoor or indoor.

Sometimes we forget to consider what the weather will do as well, you wouldn't want bits of hair hanging around your face if it's going to be a windy time of year or even when it's really hot. Once you start sweating your hair tends to stick to your face or even on the back of your neck which can be quite annoying.

On the day of your dress fitting. I find a lot of people tend to book in their hair trial on the days of the hens or kitchen tea or even the pre wedding dinner.

Just ask yourself do you really want everybody to see what your hair will look like before the big day? And in most cases the hair will not be perfect on the day of the trial. My opinion the best time to get your trial is the day of your dress fitting so you can see the whole look.

Be prepared before you turn up to the hairdressers. Look at different hairstyles not just the one look, if you like some parts of a hair style and bits of other don't forget your hairdresser can create the perfect style for you.

Not to shampoo your hair on your big day or your hair trial if your hair is really oily a day prior fine or if your hair stays squeaky clean for a while, 2 days prior is ideal.

Any hair eccessory you will put in your hair of the wedding day (unless it"s fresh flowers)
