Hi, my name is Brunella but I’m better known as Bru. I am a certified hair and makeup artist with 37 years experience in the hairdressing industry and 20 years in the makeup industry. I have been specialising in bridal and event styling for over 20 years. I am extremely passionate with my work, and always keep up with the latest styles and makeup trends. My area of expertise is in timeless looks and enhancing my clients natural beauty. I look forward to working with you for your wedding.

I could not recommend Bru more. She made me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world for my wedding day. Her skills and knowledge with hair are incredible and she was able to picture and do exactly what I wanted with my hair! Even with my minimal knowledge of hair terms. The execution was outstanding and my hair did not budge after over 20 hours! I didn’t even need to touch it or add more hairspray. It felt comfortable and didn’t make my head sore from the updo. My bridesmaids and mum were equally happy with their hair and we all looked gorgeous! She did me, 4 bridesmaids and my mum. She is a gorgeous person who works with you and your timeline of the day. She was such a vibe as me and my family were getting ready for the big day. She was easy to work with and extremely accommodating. The price point has so much value for money and I could not have dreamed of working with another person.

Bru was fantastic to work with for my 2024 wedding! I discovered Bru through a recommendation from my makeup artist and she did not disappoint!! Bru organised a bridal hair trial, where we worked through varied hairstyles until we found one that I felt most comfortable with. Her prompt replies and organisation ensured I stayed stress free in the lead up to my wedding (providing wedding day schedules/ hair prep etc, in advance). Bru's professionalism ensured my day ran smoothly, completing a bridal, MOB, MOG, 4 X bridemaids and a flower girls look. We all received compliments and our hair did not move all day. I couldn't recommend Bru any higher!

Brunella, was amazing from the moment we started speaking on message until my wedding day. She ensured I was well informed from hair prep to working out our getting ready timeline. She didn’t hesitate to accommodated an extra bridesmaid on the day as she needed help. In total Bru looked after 5 bridesmaids , 2 mothers and myself, everyone including myself felt absolutely beautiful with our hair do’s and stayed the whole night. Bru is a true professional and i understand why she has stayed in the bridal / hair Industry for 20+ years. I would definitely recommend her for anyone who needs someone reliable / adaptable to your requests. She made me feel beautiful on my bridal shower/ wedding day.

Hair and Makeup by Bru made my wedding day extra special. Absolutely loved the charisma, attention to detail and spirit of Bru. Couldn’t have asked for a better hair and makeup stylist for my mother, bridesmaids and myself on my wedding day. From making sure came on time not even charging me for the travel to catering, nurturing especially on what is an exciting but nervous day to extra love and glam to complete the look. Would definitely recommend for any event and such a beautiful person!
