Most of my Brides have paid for the Bridesmaids hair and makeup but I think it purely comes down to budget. Some have gifted the hair and makeup instead of jewellery or dress it's a very personal choice but something to remember is if the bridesmaids do pay for their own hair and makeup you as the bride will have to be a bit more flexible with style as they may also want more of a say.
