You should get a contract in writing. If the business can't deliver the job a full refund applies. Try working with professionals that have a reliable team, Dusty Gypsy has a reliable team of florists that back our business rain of hail. Make sure you have checked the business references before signing up with a wedding florist, a professional expert in the events/ weddings field would NEVER just bail a customer.

The wonderful world of Wedding Vendors is made of a pool of amazing people who help each other out in need, same goes for a florist. If I should be unable to work on the day of your Wedding, which luckily has never happend since I started, I do have a back up florist that will help me out.

In most cases, even if your florist is sick they will organise someone to replace them who is equally as talented and whom they trust to create the same magic as they've designed.

The first thing here would be to read through your terms and conditions for your booking. There should be a clause in relation to your Florist not being able to supply on the day for whatever reason. If there isn't one, ask them to put it in writing.  If they aren't able to deliver their contracted services, they should at the very least, source someone else to provide their services.  If they fall sick on the day of your Wedding, flowers should have already been created and ready for delivery so there are ample ways of making sure that happens.   Always make sure when you book a Florist they provide you with their Terms and Conditions.
