Pleasing to one's eye to have colour scheme matching throughout.  Also may be able to cut the costs when ordering your flowers.

Hope this is of help.

Not necessarily.

Usually they may have the same colours but as your ceremony is sometimes at a different place to the reception they can be different.

I once made some beautiful rose posies in soft pinks, lemons, and creams. The dresses were is in very pale pastels.

The reception on the otherhand was the Fairfield Boathouse in Victoria which is very rustic.

Thh couple decided to scatter little quirky bottles and vases on the tables. The coulours were all random, quiet quirky, not matching at all as she told me "I want them to look like they are picked from the garden".

It looked beautiful.

Your bouquet don't need to match the centre pieces.

The colour scheme for the reception really depends on what you like and also the style of the reception. If it's a modern venue then the flowers could be made to match that or a more traditional setting would dictate the style of arrangements.

No they don't have to. I have done some weddings where the bouquets and church flowers were all white and ivory and for the reception the bride wanted more drama and went with red flowers.

You do not need to use the same flowers in every element of your wedding for the theme to stand out and be spectacular. It can sometimes be more effective to walk into a reception venue where the table centrepieces stand out because they are different. It's about making it all flow.

Choose a common flower or colour palette and let it flow from one to the other. Or do something complelty different! It doesn't all need to match to be beautiful! Pastel bouquets and a brighter reception can be pulled off by using the some of the same flower types just adding the deeper shades - it all comes down to execution!

It's up to you, its your wedding after all. Normaly the flowers match in with the table centrepieces or you can have something completly different that stands out to make a statement.

I also you the bridal party flower as the table arrangement on the bridal table, saves money and they are used through out the night.

It is nice if you can create a theme through all of the wedding designs with the flower’s, if you are using flowers in the centre pieces, elements of what you use in your bouquet should be included even if they are not an exact match (this can be expensive).  You could use the same greenery and colour tones but use cheaper flowers that are in season rather than the more expensive ones that will be in your bouquet. Or just choose one flower from your bouquet and do these as posies with some greenery and keep it simple.

If you are trying to reduce the cost you could use other items like branches with fairy lights and moss and small flowers on the branches or just clusters of candles. This way you don’t have to try to match your flowers.  Happy to have a chat if you would like to discuss options.

Kind Regards,

Di
