There are a couple of other optins other that the pin. Magnets or a brooch can be used, I usually provide two pins for the boutonniere to stop it from turning upside down, pin one down thrown the top of the stem and one up from the bottom of the stem.

Hi,
There are few options, magnetic backing, broach tipe like safety pin easiest to use in my opinion or ordinary pin with decorative perl or diamonty which has to go through material, flower and then material to secure. You can ask florist to show you how is done when you ordering your flowers.
Kind regards

The flower sits on the right lapel and the pin provided by your florist then goes underneath the lapel , hidding the pin . Push through the fabric then the flower stem and back into the material. "Wella " done

Boutonnieres can be tricky, especially for the first time.
Boutonnieres are typically worn on the left lapel as it is above the heart.
Ensure that the Boutoniere is placed on the outside of the lapel (not in the buttonhole) and that the stem is pointing down.
It is usually secured by placing a pin from the back of the lapel. The pin will then be invisible from the front.
If you have a gold or decorative pin you may want to show it off and then you could pin the boutonniere from the front.
We always include two pins for our Boutinieres for extra pinning, or should something happen to the first pin.
