Hi, we were hoping to have a 'budget' wedding but it is proving harder than we initially thought. We want to have a wow factor venue with floral and styling but not sure how much is needed to be spent to achieve a 'wow' vibe.

If there is a 'budget' for the wedding, there is always the alternative to look into silk flowers which looks very beautiful but also cost friendly.
You can honestly spend as little or as much as you would like. That's the beauty of talking to a wedding florist as they can give you price estimates for the flowers you would like, and offer cost effective substitutes to make sure you stay within your budget. Overall, you don't need to spend a lot to have a big impact on your wedding day!
As a complete floral and decor design service we guide clients to plan their wedding decor in three main areas: Bridal Party, Ceremony Venue, and Reception Venue. This allows the partners to prioritise their spending on floral decor.
For example, since Covid, weddings have become smaller guest-wise and so much less expenditure on things such as table and venue decor is required - allowing more opportunity to splash on sensational florals for the Wedding Party, or to create an amazing floral background for a Zoom Wedding, for example.
We have many ideas on how to optimise your floral budget, and look forward to hearing from you!
This really is so difficult to answer because every wedding is different. Some brides have aisle decor, arbour flowers , table centres and of course the bridal party flowers. Flpwers in general have gpne up thanks to Covid and Bush fires. Generally you can get something really lovely for just under $2,000 for a decent size Bridal party and ceremony flowers and perhaps simple jars of mixed flowers for the reception. Installations and the like add a good amount to the spend. Natives are a great budget way to go as are a mixed bouquet for the bride and gypsophila bouquets for the bridesmaids. Gypsophilla installations look like a cloud and they are more budget friendly than even foliage which since the bushfires has also increased in price. Big pots of foliage and gypsophilla as aisle decor are a good way to go also.

There are lots of ways you can get the wow factor with flowers and you don't need to go over budget. Use big flowers for an impact and lots of foliage looks amazing. Please email your ideas and I can do a quote for you that will fit in with your budget.

Hi there, it really does depend on how many flowers you want to be surrounded by on your big day! But as a guide, I find $3-4k is a great budget allowing for substantial blooms (personals, ceremony and reception guest tables) . My tip is to spend your money where it counts - beautiful bouquets, stunning ceremony arrangement and your guest tables. This is what your guests see and what is featured in your wedding photos :)
There is no average dollar value but depending on how important floral are to you, approximatley 10% of your overall budget.
Good day! I would say 3500 AUD.

I think a realistic budget for a 'wow' factor is somewhere between $2000-$3500 (sorry to say!!). Many florists also have a minimum spend, especially for a weekend wedding. I agree with Bloom Boss- the flowers really do feature in the photos and make the room.
