OVERVIEW

We are Moss Lane.

We don't 'make' your bouquets or centrepeices.

We curate them.

Unstructured, ethereal and flowing florals are our signature design. But,we are about more than just flowers. We are floral story tellers. Floral poets.
Moss Lane sets the scene of your wedding day with the vision to capture the journey your love has taken you on; to reflect the laughs, tears, memories and magic that is your love. To reflect your personalities through our designs.

Whether thats with our premium imported florals or luxe real-touch silk range, we put your designs together, stem by stem, until we feel it celebrates your relationship.

We are scene setters, floral directors, mood makers, dreamers; we are wholely yours, to emulate and bring to life the visions you've been collecting through your dreams.

We are Moss Lane.

About

Hi there, I'm Adna. The Founder and Director of Moss Lane. I started Moss Lane back in early 2016- as a passion project, and fast forward to 2020 and I'm still as passionate as ever! I'm a hopeless romantic- a lover of all things beautiful, of all things floral- but most of all -I love listening to a good romantic story. I'm always up for meeting over a coffee (cake may be involved, idk) and hearing your love story. So don't be shy- send me an email or text and lets chat xx

What can I do with my wedding flowers (bouquets and centrepieces) after my wedding day?

It seems like such a waste.

Moss Lane

Lots of things! 2020 has brought out the innovative creative in everyone, and I've seen some fantastic out-of-the-box ideas to not let your flowers go to waste!

  • Wrapping station | Moss Lane has been providing a wrapping station option since we began. This way your guests can take home the beutifully wrapped flowers as wedding favours.
  • Presssed/ Resin art | Flowers from your bouquet can be pressed or laid out beautifully and preserved into resin to make jewelry, wall art, photo frames or even phone cases (my personal favourite) .
  • Silk dying | Use your wedding day flowers to colour a silk scarf or shirt- and make a beautiful and timeless memento. You can either attempt it yourself, or do a google search to find an experienced Dexter.
  • Wax candles | Preserve some of them and make your own candles with the petals
  • Donations | We also offer donation programs, where the flowers are delivered by us to Hospitals and Nursing Homes- a beautiful and ethical choice.

Is there a business that can install a massive floral ceiling installation?

Hi everyone, I need a business that can help make my dream wedding come true, I want a HUGE hanging floral ceiling installation with chandeliers in my venue on my dancefloor. I haven't chosen my venue aswell, as I don't know which venues will allow for this. I want to supply my own faux flowers and chandeliers.

Moss Lane

Most venues will allow for ceiling installs so long as it is done in a safe manner and the company installing it is insured. Large scale floral installs may require external companies (other than your florist/you) to help piece it together. However, it can get expensive as it is very labour intensive. Your best option would be to contact your venue.

Best of luck, Moss Lane x

Ideas for hanging foliage or chandelier on a budget?

Hi There! We are looking for a big hanging foliage chandelier for the reception venue. However, all the quotes I've received so far are between $1000-$2000 which is out of budget... I was wondering whether you know anyone who could do this in Melbourne? Or other options other than a foliage chandelier maybe? Thanks heaps!

Moss Lane

Go the Silk floral route! Hiring silk florals is usually about half the price of fresh florals, depending on the design and labour. Silks are a popular alternative we offer to our brides on a budget- and we actually recommend them for ceiling or hanging installs for two reasons- they can actually look better and its less labour intensive.

Best of luck, Moss Lane x
