Mary Contrary

Inspired by her grandmother's exquisite rose garden and bulging flower beds, Mary Contrary was established in early 2013 when Maeve Belshaw took the plunge and stepped away from a corporate career in Corporate Comms and PR to pursue her passion for flowers.

Specialising in weddings and special events, Mary Contrary's style would be considered rustic, yet elegant. Appreciating flowers in their natural form is very important to Maeve and she loves to experiment with colours and textures to make even the simplest of bouquets a true pleasure to look at.

Mary Contrary loves weddings! There is nothing more satisfying than delivering a bouquet to a bride-to-be to see her face light up with happiness when she looks at her special flowers for the first time.
