Arlene is phenomenal! Not only was she flexible when we had to downsize due to covid...The whole experience was flawless. She created and exquisite floral wreath for our signing table. And a stunning button hole for my groom. Arlene is a floral genius and absolutely blew our minds with what she created for us. Beautiful! All our guests commented on how lovely our flowers were. Arlene did an amazing job on my bouquet and made it exactly as I pictured it in my head. The wristlets that were made for the Bridesmaids were gorgeous and held up all night through all of the dancing and the flower crown made for our Flower Girl was perfect. If it's going to be 40 degrees on my wedding day, what kinds of flowers should I have?

Hi,

This is quite a common concern here in Brisbane. I would recommend firstly choosing a quality florist so you receive the best quality and freshest flowers. Secondly most flowers that are available in summer are pretty resilient to the heat so as long as you keep water up to them they should be fine!

Tips:

Get your flowers delivered closest to you being ready as possible.

Any buttonholes or corsages place in Fridge until needed.

Pack a little spray bottle in your emergency kit and get a bridesmaid to give the flowers a spritz after the ceremony.

Have some vases of water ready at the reception to pop the bouquets into so they can get a well needed drink.

Any concerns consult a qualified florist to assist.
