FAQ

Each WA Florists wedding is tailored to suit client requirements, such as budget, style etc, as such you would need to come in for a consult.

If your wedding is more than 6 months away, we are able to provide an Estimate but would not be able to provide a final quotation until 6 months out from the date.

Simple answer is Yes.

Even better, we stock a large range of in house made Dried and Preserved Flower Arrangements in our Florist Shop. That means:

  • You can see for yourself the quality of our work, including Bouquet samples.
  • We maintain this specific skill set all year round and are not reliant on the occasional Wedding or Event.
  • We have well established supply lines with the best wholesalers.
  • You aren't at the mercy of minimum order quantities on most varieties as we stock Dried and Preserved flowers anyway.

The answer is relative to what flowers and flower arrangements you require. Our preference is that:

  • If you need a simple Bridal Bouquet using stocked flowers a weeks notice is preferred.
  • If you require just the Bouquets and Boutonnieres for the Wedding Party that has very specific requirements than it could be as much as a month to 6 weeks.
  • If you want us to provide bespoke Wedding Flowers Arrangements for the Bridal Party, Ceremony and Reception and want full install, we may require up to 90 Days notice.

Regardless, we will do our best to accommodate your timeline.

Yes. Due to the infinite variables available, we only provide Estimates after you have attended a consultation. Unfortunately we are unable to provide Estimates or Quotations where a customer requests pricing via social media feeds or email.

What's involved in having a floral ceiling installation?

Hi team. We're enquiring about having a floral ceiling installation for our wedding. What extra costs or considerations are there to get the flowers up on the ceiling? How long do we need to factor in setup time and removal with the venue?

WA Florists

Near everything has been covered and to push the point, they take up a lot of resources including, product, labour and time. You don't always need a scissor lift. Scaffolding is better to work from and can often be wheeled around. The venue may have a rig (or two) available so ask them before speaking to the Florist. With the design you end up choosing the florist will advise if it's a full insitu build or any prefabricated panels can be made. Finally, always consider liability. Not so much about the fixture itself but any damage to floors or ceilings during installation. We avoid using scissor lifts. They are super heavy and prone to causing damage to anything but concrete floors. As for their use on or crossing lawns just don't.

How far in advance do you need to order wedding flowers?

WA Florists

The answer is relative to what flowers and flower arrangements you require and the wedding date. Our preference is that:

  • If you need a simple Bridal Bouquet using stocked flowers a weeks notice is preferred but not always essential.
  • If you plan to get married around key Florist dates, Valentines Day & Mother's Day or when supply is usually limited such as Christmas - New Year, you need to understand Florist options will be limited and flower availability isn't as certain as the rest of the year.

What flowers will be in season in winter?

Hi there. Would love to know what flowers to choose for a winter wedding so that we can save a little on costs. Our colours are mainly white, with some green and pink.

WA Florists

When looking to save on cost for Winter Weddings we see a lot of Native and Protea mix as well as simple Rose bouquets and arrangements supported by Olive Leaves in early Winter and even later when available. Obviously Roses are always available and as Valentine's and Mother's Days are past, the price of these are at the lowest during this time of the year.

Hope that helps.
