OVERVIEW
“Creative, grounded floristry” is how wedding florists Edwards and Day describe their work, with owners Amy and Jenna both artistic floral designers with a passion for weddings. While they both met and trained in floristry school together, their respective styles couldn’t be more different — something that serves their customers well; with two creative spirits, they can tackle any floral brief!
Amy’s floral style is ‘minimal, organic, in soft, neutral tones’, while Jenna loves nothing more than “bold colours and extravagant creations”. Together, this duo lovingly crafts exquisite floral arrangements, including arbour embellishments, centrepieces, hanging installations, and dreamy bouquets for the entire bridal party.
Working with Edwards and Day for your wedding florals will be a cinch, with these two floral designers known for their excellent service. Amy and Jenna have backgrounds in education and social work, and are patient, kind, work tremendously well under pressure, and are always down for a chat about designs. In fact, they’ll be the first to say that talking is one of their strengths!

About
Jenna Edwards and Amy Day are the team behind Edwards and Day. We met at floristry school where our shared love of flowers and design blossomed into our business. Our backgrounds in education and social work have given us the grounding to communicate and collaborate with people (talking is one of our strengths!). Although we have very different styles,- Jenna loves brights and bold while Amy loves a neutral palette, we complement one another and together, we can create any style you're after.

Get Expert AdviceHow fresh do wedding flowers need to be?
How long will wedding flowers stay fresh? Can I have them delivered the day before the wedding so the venue can be styled in advance? Or should I order silk or dried flowers to give me more time to work with?
Has covid changed the availability of some wedding flowers?
Hi there. What's the availability like on wedding flowers now because of covid? Are some varieties hard to get? And is there a longer than normal ordering time for wedding flowers? Thank you!
Edwards and Day
Covid and fuel prices has definitly pushed the price of flowers up, especially imported ones, but as mentioned below, locally sourced flowers are still in good supply (and much fresher!). Florists are at the mercy of nature- so often, even if you have pre-ordered a particular flower variety, it may not be available on the day at the market (this may be due to excessive rain, heatwaves etc). But you can trust your florist to create something beautiful with what nature has provided at the time!
How much is the average to spend on wedding florals?
Hi, we were hoping to have a 'budget' wedding but it is proving harder than we initially thought. We want to have a wow factor venue with floral and styling but not sure how much is needed to be spent to achieve a 'wow' vibe.
Edwards and Day
I think a realistic budget for a 'wow' factor is somewhere between $2000-$3500 (sorry to say!!). Many florists also have a minimum spend, especially for a weekend wedding. I agree with Bloom Boss- the flowers really do feature in the photos and make the room.

Most flowers are pretty hardy, so having them delivered the day before the wedding would be fine. As long as they are hydrated and the room isn't too hot.
