Thistle Flower Studio is a studio-based florist specialising in all things floral and botanical. Owner. Chloe Edwards has over 15 years’ experience in both the retail and wholesale sectors of the floristry industry and has an extensive knowledge of flowers and plants. She works closely with local growers and wholesalers to handpick the freshest quality blooms to create unforgettable flowers for her clients.

A little bit about me. I’ve always been creative with a passion for flowers and all living things. I’ve been a florist for over 15 years and I love sharing my wealth of knowledge with anyone who’ll listen. I met the love of my life on Tinder and he recently proposed to me while helping setup a wedding in Portarlington. I am a mother to two fur babies, Adelaide, the dog and Oscar, the cat. I love travelling the world, eating too much food and I recently discovered yoga.

We would recommend booking your wedding florist at least six months in advance, as dates often get booked out quickly. Ideally, the earlier the better to avoid disappointment.
Prices will vary depending on the style, varieties of flowers and size you desire. Below we have listed a few prices to give you a better idea. You can contact us anytime for a pricelist and complimentary, customised quote.

If you have never bought flowers before knowing exactly what a realistic budget looks like can be very overwhelming when planning your wedding. Budgets will vary depending on exactly what flowers you require for your special day. Do you need bridal party flowers, flowers for your ceremony or your reception? How many bridesmaids or guest tables are you having? Below we have listed a rough guide to give you a better idea.

Absolutely, we offer delivery and setup all over Melbourne and country Victoria. Delivery fees apply.
When is comes to choosing your ideal bridal bouquet or floral arrangements it’s important to consider what blooms will be in season for your wedding day. Whilst there are some flowers that bloom throughout the year, most flowers follow their own unique growing cycle liked intimately with seasonal weather conditions. Flowers such as peony roses only bloom from November to mid-December.

Of course, that’s what I’m here for. A lot of couples tell me they don’t know what flowers they want so I ask them to send me some inspiration pictures and to answer a few simple questions. Pinterest, Instagram and the internet are great places to find some inspiration. Most of the time, I can instantly tell what a couple likes from these images and guide them through various options. I’ve listed a few questions below to help get you started.
