With any enquiry, I will provide a list of flowers and foliage available at that time of season. I do advise the importance of ordering the flowers and foliage in advance of 2-3 weeks prior to the wedding date. To make sure we receive the flowers of choice from the bride and groom. As with mother nature, anything can happen so we need to keep an open mind to availability of flower choices and recommend substitutes just in case so that all are happy as this is a special, meaningful time.
With any enquiry, I always ask the valid questions, like colour palette, location, and date. I then check with my list of wholesalers the availability of flowers and foliage chosen at that time. Mother nature can be unpredictable so we must take into consideration of what is available. Other options can be provided such as preserved flowers or faux flowers that look real as a substitute.
Ideally 3-6 months in advance. As you want to make sure you find the right florist for your special day. I do like to provide prototype flower options to my clients as this gives them an idea of their perfected bridal bouquet.
