Originally based in Mount Macedon, Flowers in a Vase relocated to Woodend nearly three years ago.

She has gained a loyal following and reputation for having a creative and diverse approach, knowledge and experience in all styles and manner of floral design and artistry.

Flowers in a Vase is a boutique florist specialised in creating unique floral designs where colour, hues, form and texture are highlighted. Here we have a fondness for seasonal, and where possible, local product to ensure consistency in overall quality, variety and freshness, resulting in high quality, visually beautiful and exclusively unique results for each client.

We aim to provide the freshest and most comprehensive selection of beautiful flowers and elements for creating uniquely exquisite and bespoke arrangements for our customers.

Arne Way from Flowers in a Vase was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. I don't have a large knowledge base when it comes to flowers but Arne was able to guide me through it. I provided a very vague request of "autumn, not too much red, rustic, loose bouquet" and she absolutely nailed it. I loved our flowers and got many compliments on them.

Complementary bouquets for me and my bridesmaids

Hello. What are some complementary bouquet styles that work well together for the bride and her bridesmaids? I like that structured look - should my girls have that too, or is that too matchy matchy? Thank you!

Flowers In A Vase

As a general rule, and there is no hard and fast answer, Wedding flowers overall should be in similar styling, however if you decide to have a more structured look and the girls and little different, its the flower content and palette that will bring it all together and maintain a cohesive look- so either way as long as there is a link throughout the overall floral look, I dont think it matters. one point of difference we here at Flowers in a Vase Woodend do for our brides, we include several special blooms just for the brides bouquet to make it extra special.
