About

A little about me. I have been an experienced & awarded wedding florist for many years, starting my wedding florist business in 2010, designing wedding arrangements mainly using fresh flowers and the occasional faux flowers for my lovely brides. I have loved creating the arrangements that have made them smile and has added to making their day perfect. I have moved away from fresh flowers and now work with real touch and silk flowers creating beautiful everlasting arrangements.

How do I book a consultation to talk about what flowers I would like.

If you would like to talk to Sue our florist about the flowers you would like for your wedding, you can book online through the SM Floral Design website https://www.smfloraldesign.com.au/book-online or you can send and email to smfloraldesign@outlook.com and Sue will contact you to set up an appointment for either a phone or video call.

Where do you deliver to.

We are Australian based and can ship arrangements Australia wide via Australia Post.

When should I be booking my wedding with you.

We recommend you book your flowers when you have set your wedding date and booked your ceromony and reception venues. A $200 deposit is required for us to hold the date for you.

How do I book with you and pay the holding deposit.

When you have decided you would like us to create your beautiful flowers, you just need to email us and we will send you an invoice so you can pay the holding deposit by direct deposit.

Can you get the flowers I want.

Yes, faux flowers are available in many of the popular varieties and colours of fresh flowers and available all year round unlike fresh.

I was looking for faux flowers for my bridesmaids, flower girls and button holes. Sue from SM Floral Designs was so helpful and listened to everything I wanted. She communicated with me at all times and was happy to make any changes I requested. The flowers were beautiful and had many compliments on the day. Best part is we can keep them forever. Highly recommended if looking for faux flowers.

She was amazing! She knew what I wanted from the start and she was full of surprises. We got bouquets, buttonholes, corsages and she also did the table flowers for us. She was very flexible. We also got our bombonieres from her which were little succulent plants. We were so impressed with the quality and the price.

Carla is seriously amazing! This florist has been my one stop shop for any flower needs lately, I had noticed that the quality has changed in the last few months the flowers have just been amazing and lasting a lot longer. Carla informed me that they have recently taken over the florist. I then decided to talk to Carla about doing our flowers for our wedding and these flowers were simply beautiful! Every one commented on how gorgeous they were, I couldn't be happier with the service that I got from Carla! She was amazing as were the flowers. Do flowers cost more for New Year's Eve weddings?

Would we be looking at surcharges or a different price for flowers if our wedding was on nye?

SM Floral Design

At SM Floral Design we don't charge more for the Christmas/New Year period. We create faux flowers and if the wedding was over this period, we would create and ship the arrangements to allow for the extra time needed.
