Great question! Your wedding clutch should have a few essential items to keep you comfortable and prepared throughout the day. Here’s a list of emergency items to consider packing:

  1. Lip Balm & Lipstick – For touch-ups throughout the day.
  2. Blotting Papers – To manage any shine or sweat, especially if it’s warm.
  3. Safety Pins – A lifesaver for any wardrobe malfunctions.
  4. Tissues – For happy tears or if you need to freshen up.
  5. Mini Deodorant – To stay fresh and avoid any stress about body odor.
  6. Pain Relievers – Just in case of a headache or muscle ache (e.g., ibuprofen or aspirin).
  7. Band-Aids – For any blisters from heels or other minor injuries.
  8. Clear Nail Polish – A quick fix for any runs in your stockings or chipped nails.
  9. Sewing Kit – For any last-minute repairs.
  10. Mints or Breath Fresheners – For a quick refresher before kissing or speeches.
  11. Phone – For communication with your planner or photographer if needed.
  12. A small snack – Something light like a granola bar or nuts to keep you energized.

These essentials will help you stay calm and prepared for whatever comes your way on your wedding day!

Keep it simple for you clutch and isvk a second one for your bridesmaids to be in charge iof ??

For you: tissues, small pack of wet wipes, lipstick for touch ups, perhaps a small perfume stick or spray, and a couple of breath mints.

For Bridesmaids: wet wipes, anti static spray, tissues, lipstick touch ups, Bobby pins, deodorant, safety pins, a small comb. Face mist. A couple of small bottles of water wouldn't hurt if it is a warm day.  This kit doesn't have to be carried around, but should be within reach - ie in the transport vehicle ( for when photos are being taken) or put into accessible but invisible spot at the reception.

I attended a wedding where the bride had put  a basket in the powder room for her guests to touch up, it had a hair straightener. Face mist. Some  scented wipes snd a hand lotion, spray deodorant. Hair spray, Bobby pins. Sunscreen.
It was a nice touch.

Most importantly - don't overthink it & enjoy your day. ??

  1. Definitely a mini pack of baby wet wipes, which are great for getting lipstick and marks off your wedding dress!
  2. High quality safety pins of varying sizes for the emergency bustle that may have broken when a well meaning guest or hubby steps on your dress!
  3. Nude lip gloss to freshen up when the lips get dry.
  4. Small tissue pack for the odd tearful/joyful moment!
  5. Listerine breath freshner papers, they're small but effective.
  6. Last but not least, if you're wearing Spanx for a great shape, pop in a sexy little lace piece for later in the evening!

Hope this helps!
