The team welcomes walk-ins during the week but encourages you to make an appointment on Saturdays to ensure a consultant and dressing room are available to you. Feel free to bring in photos of gowns that inspire you so that your consultant can bring you a tailored selection of dresses to try in your hour-long appointment.
“Louise and the team at Timeless Elegance are amazing. They stock beautiful dresses and are committed to helping you find your perfect dress, not to sell you the most expensive one they can and rush you to the checkout. Every experience I have had a Timeless Elegance was amazing and now that the wedding is finished I miss going there for my bridal appointments.” Amy P

Timeless Elegance Bridal opened in 2003, with the aim of a ‘one stop wedding shop’. I am proud to have been consistent in my dream, and to have achieved perfection for so many brides. I love working with our brides from start to finish, often over a period of many months form the time they select their dream dress to the time they collect. I love seeing the excitement and anticipation on their faces. I have been very fortunate over the years to work with a fabulous team.

FAQ
We suggest that you start looking and order your gown about 12-9 months before your wedding date. This time frame allows you to order your gown without any added stress about your delivery date (gown ordering time frame 4-6 months), as well as time for alterations (usually started 6-8 weeks before the wedding). This time frame will also not limit your options and avoid having any rush fees.

Expert Advice
As a wedding professional, Timeless Elegance offers expert advice to help couples plan their perfect day. Ask a question or read their expert advice.
Get Expert AdviceAre garters still popular with brides?
Wondering if garters are still worn very much, and also if the garter toss is popular.
Timeless Elegance
It is a personal choice. Carters are a lovely keepsake from a wedding and we find they are still very popular, but no so much the garter toss. Often brides are gifted a garter prior to their wedding, so it then becomes a beautiful keepsake
How can I make sure guests understand our dress code?
We want to have a formal/black tie wedding.
Timeless Elegance
Firstly ensure that your invittions stat Black Tie as a dress code, gernerally people will respect that once stated. If you are having other instructions with your invitations, ie: directions to the venue or the receptions, information about travel or accommodation, then you could also have a 'what is acceptable for dress code ie: Men, black tie formal, or jacket & tie at minimum, no jeans. Ladies restaurant length or long dress preferred'
Another good way of getting the word around is to make sure family understand what is required, and then they can spread the word.
No doubt there will always be a couple who will not put in the effort, but do not let them bother you. Most, if not all of your guests will aim to make you happy with your wedding style.
Am I allowed to take photos of the dresses I try on?
I heard from a friend that this is sometimes not allowed at the dress fitting/appointment, but is this the norm? Feel like it will help me choose if I can see what I look like in photos.
Timeless Elegance
Every store has their own policy so I would check on arrival. Most will allow photographs of your top favourite couple of gowns if you ask. It is never a good idea to take photos of every gown you try on as it can get confusing. Most importantly remember an iphone photograph is never going to reflect how you feel in the gown, and will never look as good as what your wedding photographer will do.
