About
Before becoming the Senior Stylist at Vintage Patina, Natalie worked extensively in Film, Television and Theatre, writing and analysing scripts and literature, creating storyboards and adapting the story to the set. Transferring these skills over into event management and wedding planning, Natalie now creates beautiful and memorable designs for weddings, translating a couple's story and vision to their own personal set, their wedding ceremony and reception.

Yes, we have full planning services available. We have a fantastic team of stylists, event managers, graphic desiners, calligraphers, signwriters and work with some amazing suppliers such as florists, photographers, caterers and entertainers. We look after it all, so you can sit back and relax. Get in touch for more information.
We offer styling advice, theme creation and concept design, handwritten services, wedding stationary, furniture and prop hire, set up and pack down services and wedding related DIY workshops.

Get Expert AdviceThere is a plain bluestone wall behind our bridal table. Does it really need something on it?
We are having a 150cm floral arrangement and LED candles along the bridal table so I am thinking that may be enough and if we put something on the wall it might look OTT. Thoughts?

That really depends on what the overall theme and concept you have for your wedding. If the bluestone wall goes well on its own with the entire aesthetic of your wedding, than no you don't need to do anything with it. Otherwise you can do a few floral installations or something edgy like a funky neon. What is the most popular wedding theme/style at the moment?

We're getting a lot of enquries about Boho style. It's a mix of different styles and you can taylor it to your personal taste. It's all about embracing the beauty of nature and natural elements but defintely not limited to it!
Dark or light colours for wedding motif?
I want to help my fiancee make wedding arrangements. She has assigned me to coming up with good colour motifs for our big day. I’m not really the artsy type of person so I need others’ opinions whether we should have dark or light colours. We’re having a June wedding, on the 20th to be exact. It’s our second anniversary after knowing each other in a meet foreign tours. I think she would want to match our motif with the season. If I’m not mistaken it’s a day before the official start of summer. Wouldn’t it be nice to welcome the summer with a wedding full of summer colours? There are dark colours for summer and there are light ones too. I don’t know which one to choose.

It really depends on the theme of the wedding and the colour palette of the day- bridal bouquet, bridemaids dresses etc. If you're going for a summer theme why not utilise some of those tropical colours- bright, vivacious colours with deep green tropical leaves.
Or you can be more classical with creams and white, with pops of champagne and soft pink colours.
