Team were amazing, food was amazing. Communication was always amazing and the team were so helpful in minamilasing costs! Ultimately they made alot our guest happy with food. Personal opinion their grazing table is some of the best I ever seen! Such politely friendly staff they were in and out I barley got to thank them in person!

We from HLB do mini slider or actual slider a lot, doing a nice variety of maybe 3 or 4 different fillings, including at least one vegetarian option, it's a winner!

Do you charge more for catering on a New Year's Eve wedding?

Would we be looking at surcharges or a different price list for catering if our wedding was on nye?

We from HLB Catering, have to surcharge our prices on special days such as NYE or public holidays, to cover staff costs. As hospitality staff shortage continues to hit us hard, if we don't offer a good hourly rate on those days, we may not be able to have enough staff to work in our events.

I've been seeing more and more single-serve food ideas for weddings — does this mean shared/feasting style is on the way out? Or was that just a response during covid? Does single-serve catering cost more? Thanks.

No, we from HLB Catering, have been doing quite a few of shared meals. We're all different with different ideas and point of views. Feasting is a very nice way to eat while having fun.
We serve shared platters and grazing tables a lot! I'm sure your guests will enjoy their time.
