Chef Lorenzo Schiaffini started his career at London’s famous River Cafe before opening and running restaurants for Jamie Oliver across England and Australia, including Jamie’s Italian in Perth.
Luckily for WA, Lorenzo decided to settle down with his family in Aveley and in 2015 opened Woodfire Italian Restaurant in Ellenbrook, which quickly became one of Perth’s top destinations for lovers of Italian cuisine – even the junior ones.
Woodfire’s specialities are genuine Napoli style pizza, which The West’s Rob Broadfield described as “one of the tastiest pizzas we’ve eaten”, and get-them-while-you-can bomboloni (delicious Italian donuts that always sell out!)
