Kellie has almost three decades of experience, from running nationwide events to finding her calling owning and operating one of Brisbane’s most successful catering companies, Pure Catering. In her event and catering career, she has held functions for the likes of John Howard PM, John Farnham, Virgin Australia, Mater Group, In 2011, Olivia started full time and hasn't looked back since. We are a mother - daughter duo taking on the world of catering and wanting to share our families love of food.

Worried that your vegan friend is coming so you have to choose an entirely vegan menu? Don’t!
All we need is a list of dietary requirements and we look after the rest! Your dietary pals will be looked after! We make sure they have a variation of the menu or something special just for them! We will talk you through popular options to cover any surprises you may come across
Menu selection is done about a fortnight out from your event. We leave it this close because menus are seasonal, they change with the weather and with current trends. Our Chef team also come up with new ideas and we want to make sure that you get the latest and greatest from our team. Our Catering Manager will send you the details and talk you through any questions you have.
We hold Brisbane based tastings every quarter. This is a ticketed event with the ability to try a large number of our dishes from your selected reception style.

Hi there. Wondering if we're supposed to cater meals for our wedding suppliers, and which suppliers are typically included? Need to factor into our budget.
Which is better value - a bar tab or drinks package at our wedding?
We're inviting about 80 people to our wedding. Trying to decide between a bar tab and drinks package. When is it best to have each?
Pure Catering
We tend to suggest a drink package just to eliminate a 'to-do' on your special night. Bartenders will have to keep you in the know with spends / reaching limits etc.
Drink packages are always great for budgeting as well, all your spending is done and you can just relax!
You know your crowd better than anyone, if you think they aren't big drinkers then you can switch to a bar tab. If you have a few wild cards that are there for a good time, drink package is the way to go :-)

Hi. Your vendors are a big part of your special day, and are usually with you for an extended period of time. It is usual for you to cater for them, especially the photographer and videographer. Bands, DJ's and MC's normally include it as part of their agreement with you, so you should include them in your budget as well. We provide vendor meals for $30 each and this is typically the same meal as you are having.
