Based on the North Shore, we ride all over Sydney and surrounding areas. Our two identical 1957 split screen Kombis have been meticulously restored and are designed especially for Weddings. With a neutral colour palette in champagne + white, the Kombis compliment every type of wedding. Your photos with these kombis will look sensational!
These kombis will look the part in every setting...whether it's a forest, country, beach or an urban wedding, we will go the extra mile to ensure we get you where you need to be and we'll do it in style. Our friendly drivers have a passion for exceptional customer service that will exceed your highest expectations. We keep you refreshed and fed during your photo session with complimentary beverages and grazing board all packed in our chilled eskies. You can also bring along any food or drinks you want and we'll keep them cool for you.
These retro Kombis were restored and designed to offer the most luxurious ride with all the vintage feels. Travelling in a Kombi will bring a touch of rustic style and a sense of fun, to create wonderful memories on your Wedding Day. Our interior seats face each other, providing a social atmosphere for your amazing day and there is even room for your littlest crew with anchor points for baby seats.

We have two 1957 split screen Kombis which are identical. If you have a large bridal party and require more vehicles, we can contact another friendly Kombi company who we have worked with before. They may be able to provide us with one or more of their gorgeous Kombis which will compliment our 'twinning pair'.
You should start looking at booking your Kombi for your wedding about 12-18 months in advance as the calendar can fill up pretty quickly! If you have seen our Kombis and you know it is exactly what you want for your wedding, then dont wait...just book them before they are gone! Quite often people are disappointed because they have left it too late :(
That's okay. You can still book to secure the vehicles and figure out all the finer details later on. If down the track you find you need to book our services for a longer period of time, we will sort it all out then. The most important thing, is that you will have secured the Kombis you want for your wedding!
Each Kombi can take up to 7 passengers each, plus the driver. However, 6 passengers is the ideal number as then the party is in the back with the seats facing each other...a wonderful fun, social scene for every occasion.
Absolutely. We have baby car seats and booster seats available, which easily secure into the safety anchor points of the vehicles. You can also provide your own car seat, which we will fit for you, should you wish to take it with you for the return trip home. This will ensure your youngest members of your bridal party will be included in the fun ride too.
Yes absolutely! A week before your big day, someone from Klassic Kombiz will call you and go through the run sheet with you, to confirm they have all the details they need for the Wedding. They will confirm your start times for everything, pick up and drop off addresses, number of passengers, photo session details etc...the list goes on. The Drivers will then be provided with all the information to ensure everything goes smoothly for you on the day.
We will always have a good selection of music on our iPod, which is available to you. The drivers will always ask you for your music preference. However, if you want to play something of your own, our Kombis are fitted with Bluetooth 'Retrosound' stereo, so you can easily connect your phone and play your own tunes.
Your driver will speak with you personally, regarding the most convenient time to serve you a cheese platter and beverages. It will most likely be during your photo shoot session. However, every wedding is unique, so if you have a specific time you think you would like it then we will do our best to meet your expectations.
The Kombis come with the classic white ribbons adorned on the front...looking elegant as always! However, every wedding is unique and everyone has different tastes of what they love...so if you would prefer a different colour ribbon or a natural material such as hessian, or perhaps even a faux floral arrangement instead, then we will decorate the Kombi however you choose.
No they don't, and you'll be hard pressed to find a classic car of this age that has air con. However, both Kombis do have tinted windows throughout and all windows are opening to let the breeze in. There is also an air flow system which runs through the Kombis to keep the air circulating. As an added bonus, we also have wooden hand-fans should you choose to use them whilst enroute! We have never had a complaint so rest assured you'll be nice and comfortable.
Each Kombi only takes one Wedding booking a day. Therefore, if you think you might go over time this isn't a problem, you just need to let the Driver know and they will confirm it with our office. You will then receive an invoice for the extra time. We do however, recommend that you speak with your photographer prior to the Wedding day and let them know the time you have your cars booked for. This way everyone will know the schedule and your day should run smoothly.
Absolutely! If there is room for them, then they are welcome to go in the Kombi during your photo session.
Unfortunately the answer is no. Klassic Kombiz is an Accredited business and due to insurance and authorisations, only our licenced drivers can drive the vehicles for events. So sit back and relax while we do the work for you...and enjoy the ride!

How many wedding cars do you usually need?
Klassic Kombiz
Some couples hire two Kombis, one for one side of the bridal party and the 2nd for the other side. Having the two Kombis together makes for spectacular photos and lots of fun for the whold Bridal party to travel together as well! However, if you only have a small bridal party, you may only need the one!
Do you think I could ask for black ribbons on my wedding car?

You should ask for whatever colour you prefer and it should be accomodated. At Klassic Kombiz you can choose any colour of the rainbow. You can even have burlap if you prefer, for that gorgeous boho style on the Kombi.
