Our lovely 1949 and 1950 Mark V Jaguars have been lovingly restored to their original pristine condition of olde english white and red leather interior.
Featuring the style and and craftsmanship of traditional polished wood and luxurious interior.
We have fully restored the cars ourselves and pride ourselves on service and quality.

About
1981 Stan and I were married in our MKV Jag and having owned a florist shop (& our MKV) for many years our wedding customers always wanted our Jaguar as their wedding car, but not being licensed as a hire car (at that time) we could not offer our services. Much to their disappointment… So 1991 CLASSIC JAGS was born and since then our family business has grown to 9 Jaguars. Our Jags are our family and our passion. Our MKV's celebrated their 70th Birthday and our other cars their 50th in 2019.

Our 4 matching MKV's , new Convertible MKV and XJ6 are licenced to carry up to 4 passengers (as well as your licenced chauffeur) and our 2 matching Royal Daimler's are licenced to carry 8 passengers plus your chauffeur.
All vehicles have custom air conditioning and duel air conditioning in each matching Royal Daimler (The Queen’s car).
Over 25 years experience in the wedding business and proudly family run and owned.
Before then we had owned a florist shop (and a Mark V Jaguar) for many years; and our wedding customers always wanted our Jaguar as their wedding car. But not being licensed as a hire car (at that time) we could not offer our services. Much to their disappointment… And so we began a full restoration of our Jaguar, and hunted for a second Mark V. After 2 years of restoration work on these cars we began Classic Jags in 1991. Since then our fleet has grown to four fully restored 1950 Mark V Jaguars, a 1970 XJ6 Series 1 Jaguar, 2 fully restored Royal Daimlers which were built for Queen Elizabeth second and are used for Royalty still today and now our new MKV Convertible has just been added.
We offer experienced chauffeur's with our vechiles and include red carpet, tulle, ribbons, umbrellas, mints, handtowels and an esky service with soft drinks and water which we serve during your fashion shot locations. If you wish you can add drinks and nibbles of you liking to our eskys.

It's an individual choice you may have a theme or the location you are getting married at may suit a certain style of car to match the era. You should also take into account the number of people you need to transport as you may want to have a limo for all your attendants and a smaller car for the Bride and Groom. I personally selected a Classic Car for our wedding and many years later we are still using it for our Bridal Couples. Classic Cars are timeless and the photographer's love them to use as a backdrop for your photos. Ultimately it's your choice.
which style of wedding car is more practical when it comes to transporting the wedding party

It's really a personal prefference both are completely different with the Classic Cars probably offing more leg room and off course the photographers love them as they become a beautifull backdrop to your photos. Make sure if you use Classic Cars check that they have Air-Conditioning. Some people use both Modern to the Church and then Classic for the photos and then to the reception but ultimately it is what you personally like and suits your theme. We have 4 or 8 passenger vehicles to choose from if getting married in Adelaide.
Will I be disappointed if I don't hire a wedding car? I don't know if I have room in my budget

As your wedding car plays a big part in your day i think you would be dissapointed as not only is it transport it is a backdrop for your photos as photographers love to take car shots and create lasting memories. Your chauffeur is also very important looking after your evey need on the day helping you to get into and out of the car with your dress, serving drinks and holding umbrellas if it's a rainy day. We often get Bridal Couples contacting us very close to their wedding day saying they thought they wouldn't have cars or were using family cars which had pulled out at the last minuite and are desperate to book.
