How many passengers can each Kombi have

All our Kombi's - Minty & Eleanor are licenced as qualified commercial passenger vehicles that can hold 9 people in total - including the driver.

The seating is VERY SPACIOUS as the Kombi's were designed to hold 9 as touring cars in the 1950's & 1960's.
Seats are also really comfortable and you get brilliant views from all the windows

Do you have air-conditioning

Yes two types:

Classic air-conditioning from the safari windows, unique to these style of Kombi's as well as air via the overhead central vent.
All our Kombi's have the additional 'evaporative' portable air-conditioning units that we carry - we have 2 for each Kombi just to be sure. Hardly ever use them but when we do - they work wonders

Do you offer a Photo-Booth

Yes - Both Minty & Eleanor can be set up as a photo-booth where we offer the following as part of the phot-booth service.

An illuminated sign saying 'Photo-Booth" often placed in a vintage suitcase for extra appeal
Heaps of props - signs, hats, 60's toys, classic tennis rackets, space guns, glitter and much more
We provide a 'poloroid camera' & Film - that allows you to get the photo's immediately so you can take away or place in the photo-book
We can supply a hard bound photo-book for the photo's to be pasted onto the book, where your guests can write some great comments as they post their photo on the page
You get a great keepsake here - on the day!
We actively encourage guests to take photo's, suggest ideal shots and take the photos for them - so they are always great

Do you come back at the end of the Wedding Reception to take Bride & Groom and Guests back to accommodation

Yes, Yes & Yes

We can leave after the initial booking for the wedding & photos and then return at the end of the night - we are very reasonable with pricing for this

Can we use the Kombi as we see fit

Absolutely

Once you have Minty or Eleanor - it's your for the full hire period.
Our friendly & highly flexible driver will take them anywhere you need them and for any reason
We pride ourselves on being flexible - thus we can be used for passenger transport, photos, photo-booth, drive into weird & difficult places for that ultimate shot - hey - we will even get you pizza if you want - we here for you on the day

We hired Minty for our wedding at the Parkdale Yacht Club. The service could not have been any better. Minty was beautiful and the driver was relaxed and fun. He was awesome with the flower girls 3 of them and let them have fun. We had many photo's done with Minty and they have turned out beautiful. The driver picked up the boys first then came back and got the bridal party. He was prompt and friendly. Money well spent, easy booking process, highly recommend Melbourne Vintage Kombi Hire would definitely use them again. You guys helped to make our day special.
