How far will a cake company deliver?

Depending on the company and the travel eqipment they have, I personally like to travel up to 2 hours max.

This really depends on the company. Generally within my business, I offer free delivery within 15kms of my studio. Further distances will incur an additional fee.

our company only delivers in the perth area. Saying that we do offer a pickup service for clients out of the perth area.

they pickup the cake early in the morning, the cake is boxed ready for travel and refrigerated well.we have had many a cake travel this way, some as a 5 hour journey and they arrive perfect, 

Every cake creator will have a range they're prepared to deliver. I have a wonderful cake fridge that I designed which allows me to deliver my cakes up to 3 tiers fully assembled in a food safe manner. They travel super cold in the back of my car up to 3 hours drive. I'm in Brisbane and only work with buttercream so I need to be able to manage really hot humid conditions and this has been an amazing solution. We charge time and tolls for delivery. 

This Depends on Each cake supplier. 

We have delivered up to 300 km radius. And we work with the couple, venue and wether conditions that need to suit the style of cake wanted.

Each baker will be different. Some bakers will travel with larger cakes seperately and construct at the venue. 

For us, we deliver cakes earlier in the day and get the venue to diplay the cake later. We only supply mini tiered cakes '4+6inch' so they are easier to transport. We charge a delivery fee for all cakes - wedding and celebration. We have travelled up to 100km with cakes. We tend to stay local during the heat of summer as buttercream + heat do not play well.
