It is a lovely intimite way to meet and greet with your cake designer and bond with your clients on their choice of themes and colours theuy wish to create for their cake of choice. Where you can use all your senses of taste, touch and smell. It is a delicious way to spend an afternoon.
costs can be involved and some are refundable once an order has been made
The way my taste test consultations work is that I pre book all the couples in advance....I have certain dates that I hold my taste test consultation which are an hour long. There is a fee that needs to be paid to secure the booking, I send a list of flavours available and ask the couples to choose 4 cake flavours that they would like to taste.
If the couple books their wedding cake with Blissful Inspirations Cakes and Sweets the fee they paid for the tast test consultation will be taken off the total price of the wedding cake.
Once a bride/groom has booked a consultation, we can organise a taste testing of a number of cakes we offer. We would also ask them if there is anything special that they would like tasted so that we can have it on the day of booking, this will enable the bride and groom to place and pay a deposit for their special day and to walk away content.
Hi,
Most tastings or consultations work with the bride and groom attending, you would be able to sample a variety of flavours as well as discuss everything about your cake.
You should expect to walk away from your tasting with a firm quote or have placed your order and secured this with a deposit.
Hope this helps.
Kind Regards
Craig & Rimma

After the date and deposit has been booked and paid for we can organize a tasting if customers have never tasted our cakes before to lock in the flavors they prefer. This is usually in the form of cupcake box.
