cake toppers... are they still trendy?

I would have to say definitely YESS!!

I've had numerious wedding cakes in the past couple of months that have had cake toppers!

It does depend on the cake design and the theme your looking at doing, but i believe its still trendy for sure!!!

Hi!.  I have created a number of cakes in the last six months particularly and bride and groom topper have been used for decoration on the top tier.  Just this weekend I had a bride and groom topper made up from fondant, so yes, they are still used.

I've only ever done a few cake toppers but depending on what you are thinking there are some beautiful ones out there at the moment. Bride and groom toppers are pretty much non existent nowadays.

Yes they are . You are to determine whether or not you want one , if you have a floral arrangement , then maybe it won't need to be on their . But then again we look at designes and if it's needed we can discuss it . I always ask my brides if they were wanting a topper , but if I think it's to much I give advice at looking at some other form of personalised Lettering for the Wedding Table or other ways we an incorporate  it 

Certain yes, Cake Toppers add a personalized statement.  A lot of the brides and groomes are buying their own as everyone has special something in their life they would like to include in their wedding day.  I have just recently done a wedding cake with kookaburras on the top tier of the cake, bringing in the Aussie lifestyle. Or it may be initials of the couple getting married.  The sky is the limit on cake toppers.
