OVERVIEW
Every single creation is custom designed and made to reflect your personal style and event theme. I use freshly baked cakes with minimal storing so that taste amazing on the day. Creating the cakes with fresh garnishes is also one of my personal touches and I love using edible flowers and florals to make the cakes come alive!
Love is put into all my cakes and desserts from the inside out, so not only do they taste delicious, but also look exceptional! There is no fondant used on my cakes so my designs reflect a more natural made cake!

Hi, I’m Katie and I am BBK! I’m located on the beautiful Mid North Coast in Port Macquarie). I especially LOVE love so Wedding cakes always hold a special place with me. Its such a private & exciting moment and I want to make sure the process is as relaxed as possible...After all at the end of the day it’s just cake!! Yes of course! I have gluten free cake options available and also small cake options for individual serves needed. I can cater to suit vegan friendly, dairy free and nut free. As I cook in a kitchen that still produces and works with gluten, dairy, nuts and eggs please advise if you have strict intolerances - so we can do our best to reduce cross contamination as much as possible. If you have any questions about this, please just ask, I do my best to cater for all dietary requirements where possible.
Yes, we can organise a cake consult and cake samples for you Wedding Day. I hold cake consults free of charge when ordering your sample boxes which will include a minimum of 6 cake flavours and maximum of 8 cake flavours to taste. Cake tastings and consults happen on a quartly basis and are held from Thursday to Sunday with selected date/times on offer. Bookings are essential and payment is required for sample box upon booking. Please enquire for upcoming dates and times via page.
We service areas from Nambucca Heads to Forster and everywhere in between. Our Cakes can and have travelled well and we can always come up with a new idea or style to make it happen. Please keep in mind that the delivery process is quite important and the cake needs to be well supported to do so. No travel on unsealed roads or areas where standard vehicles are unable to drive safely. Please get in touch to discuss further. A fee applies for all cake delivers and amount will be displayed clearly on your quote/invoice.
Of course not! You can choose to go in any direction you like. We offer a range of cakes and desserts to make your day unquie and individual as much or as little as you want. I love to be creative by doing something different from the usual or trying something new & out of the box. Please don't hesitate in throwing all your ideas crazy or not at me!! Let's work together to make your day exactly the way you want it to be xx
Yes, I love using fresh & tasty ingredients as much as possible. So I do not work with fondant or similar. I like the cake to be edible and delicious so using only ingredients/products allows me to not only have a cake that not only looks good but taste great too. Keep in mind as my cakes are made with buttercream mainly they will always have imprifections but never lacking on quality or taste. If you're unsure of the difference between fondant and buttercream, let's make a time to discuss further and make sure we're getting a cake that's exactly how you imagine it!

Would we be looking at surcharges or different pricing for our wedding cake if our wedding was on nye?

Hello! Generally this time is taken off to enjoy a couple of days with friends and family over holiday season - so a surcharge would be expected if being provided from a shopfront. However home based bakers might be able to waive this fee if they wish as we tend to quote on all the factors of cake making indivually each time. Hope that helps x
