Get Expert AdviceVegan and celiac guests - they can't eat the cake I've chosen, so what do I give them?
A few of my guests are vegan and gluten intolerant. They've specified on the RSVP that they'll bring their own dessert, but I feel like this cheapens my wedding. What do I give them if they can't eat the cake I've chosen?
Do I cut the top tier or bottom tier of my wedding cake?
Hi, I have two questions in one. First of all, when cutting the cake, are we supposed to cut the top tier or the bottom tier? Secondly, which leg should the garter go on?
Avanti Cakes
Hi Alicia, the bottom tier should always be cut first as its the biggest but no all the way down as its bad luck.
The garter can be worn on any leg.
You can freeze fruit cake for 25 years and mud for 6 months only.

Hi Jackie.
We don't do gluten free cakes but what I always suggest to my brides is get the cake for the other people as normal and coles have a greens product that is gluten free.
If someone cake bake it we can decorate it with fondant only and it will be in the kitchen as a kitchen cake.
Hope this will help you out.
Kind regards
