Wooden Spoon Cakes are a registered cake business located in Melton.

When it comes to your wedding cake heart and passion backed up with experience and qualifications is what you need from your cake decorate.

With over 19 years within the industry as a pastry chef and cake decorator we have the knowhow to create an amazing centrepiece to your wedding.

We have made cakes from the traditional classic wedding cake to the total left field.

Feel free to email us for a quote if you have something in mind or we can make an appointment to design something personal and unique just for you.

Another great thing we do, is we only bake from fresh ingredients, never using cake pre mixes so you will taste the difference with us. We also have an extensive range of gluten free cakes and pastries and are able to accommodate other food intolerances.

We area patisserie and coffee shop open every day but Sunday, so feel free to come infor a little cake and coffee.

Wooden Spoon Cakes was recommended by our venue, Goona Warra Vineyard, and we were very impressed firstly with the willingness of Debra to create something a little bit different to fit in with the 'dinosaur' theme of our wedding! We were also very impressed with the quality of the cakes which we were able to sample at their cafe in Melton. Wooden Spoon Cakes made us a two-tier cake with our supplied dinosaur cake-toppers, and created an 'environment' for them with sugar rocks and leaves which looked and tasted amazing.

We decided to make a cookie stack cake for our wedding and we received so many compliments on our 'cake'. They weren't dry and they were full of flavour. We had 8 different flavours of circular melting moment type cookies with gnache in the middle.
