Simply Cakes Melbourne is based in Bonbeach, Melbourne, Victoria. Our kitchen is registered with the Kingston City Council and we bake with quality ingredients to ensure your satisfaction.

We offer customised celebration cakes for many occasions like weddings, birthdays, christenings, and other occasions. A minimum of 2 weeks notice is required. Please feel free to browse our cakes gallery and send us an email to get a free quote.

My husband and I recently got married on the 13th March and we chose Simply Cakes to create our wedding cake. Our wedding cake looked absolutely stunning and tasted amazing too. So light and fluffy. It was exactly as I had imagined it would look, and Evi was such a pleasure to work with. She was always so friendly and quick to reply to my emails, and even when were a bit indecisive with the design she was always happy to offer advice and assistance. I would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a cake designer. Thank you so much Evi! xx

Simply cakes Melbourne cakes are so fresh and tasty. The quality is amazing, highly recommend to anyone wanting to have a beautiful wedding cake. Does the wedding cake maker bring a stand for the cake or not?

Normally not as usually the venue has a cake stand to use or has a tall cake table but I do have cake stand for hire as well.

What's an idea for a wedding cake flavour that's not too sweet or sugary?

Hi,

Butter cake or sponge type cake are better option for less sweet cake. We can reduce sugar in the recipe.

Cake with fruit fillings such as raspberry coulis or lemon curd also great as these fillings can cut the sweetness.

are 5 tiered cakes all cake? or are they fake?

Hi, they can be fake if you want a big cake for display without having too much cakes. The real cake can be just one tier to cut and serve the guests with slab cake ( cutting cake).
