OVERVIEW

A Taste Of Passion was established in 2006 by me, Amy Leamon, a qualified chef since 2003. I have always loved cooking and baking and decided it was time to share my passion and creativity with other people on their special days!

I have worked and trained in many different cafes and restaurants throughout my career. With this experience I have learnt a lot and have a much to offer clients. From food for a cocktail party or a cake for your wedding, birthday or engagement party. I also make christmas puddings and fruit mince pies for everyone to enjoy on christmas day.

I love what I do and that will show in the product that you will recieve.

Please dont hesitate to send me an email and I am would be more than happy to answer any questions that you may have.

March 2016

Amy does outstanding work - everyone absolutely raved about our white/dark chocolate marble cake with butter cream icing (I had at least 3 pieces on the night) and we're about to tuck in to the top tier white chocolate raspberry part. Nutritious? Um...no. But definitely delicious!

We had an amazing three tiered mud cake (expresso, Mars and white chocolate raspberry layers) that served in excess of 100 guests. Absolutely delicious!

is there a specific way youre supposed to cut the cake?

A Taste Of Passion

Yes there is a specific way of cutting cake and if not done correctly then you won't get enough pieces that you require. Most places that hold wedding receptions regularly know how to cut a wedding cake properly.

cake toppers... are they still trendy?

A Taste Of Passion

I've only ever done a few cake toppers but depending on what you are thinking there are some beautiful ones out there at the moment. Bride and groom toppers are pretty much non existent nowadays.

Amy

are 5 tiered cakes all cake? or are they fake?

A Taste Of Passion

It all depends on you guest numbers, but I've done a 5 tiered cake that was all cake. To make it a bit cheaper you can do a couple of the tires cake and the rest foam and the have cutting cakes for out the back.
