Our experience with Jacquie from J Poppet Cakes was beyond excellent. From the moment we first went to cake taste we could tell she was a professional and takes pride in what she does. She helped us choose the flavors and fillings that best suited us and our preferences, she added her amazing twists to it. Her cakes are very rich in flavor and also look SO beautiful. Our guests raved about how good the cake tasted. Her customer service is top notch. She dealt with us through the whole design and flavoring of the cake and was professional, so friendly, and patient the whole time. We did not feel rushed or pressured at any point. The taste of the cake is fantastic and you can do a tasting before the day. The decoration is stunning and she bought her own stand for the setup on the day. She was so efficient and just brilliant! She created a masterpiece for us.

What are the most common wedding cake flavours?

J Poppet

chocolate is still the most popular. Most brides stick to the basics that the majority of guests will engoy. So Chocolate, White, caramel and RedVvelvet. Sometimes alternating layers and usually a different flavour on each tier. Other flavours include Citrus Coconut, Choc Hazelnut, Carrot, White with Raspberries....

if i have a small wedding cake, do i have to buy another bigger cake to cut up and give out?

gosh NO !!! I always tell my brides..."it's your wedding...you can do what you like" ! some brides like to follow tradition..... others like to do something out of the box ....or a suprise for their guests. ..... the main thing is to do something you like that fits in with your theme and stlye. Many receptions have a dessert buffet included in the menue so a huge cake isn't neccessary.

does it cost more to have multiple flavours in a 3 tiered cake? each tier a different flavour?

NO...absolutly not! I love it when my brides choose different flavours !
