Hi! My name is Shanti, and I am the creator and owner of "From The Wild" cake business! I am super passionate about making cakes and desserts for special occasions that are whole foods based and vegan friendly. All our cakes are Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Refined Sugar free and vegan friendly. They are also grain and soy free, using natural and (where possible) organic products.

It really depends on the type of cake, but ultimately slicing it before you freeze it, wrap it tightly with a few layers of glad wrap and pop in the freezer. the more airtight the wrapping of each cake, the less likely it is to go dry! I would suggest serving it with a bit of berry sauce or some sort of yummy saucy side like caramel to add some moisture to the cake if its like a lighter cake or sponge consistency. The more dense kinds of mudcakes and cheese cakes freeze better, because of their texture but you can still totally freeze other types of cakes successfully to enjoy further down the track ;)
What's an idea for a wedding cake flavour that's not too sweet or sugary?

I think it really depends on your flavour needs, but my suggestion is pairing something fresh and zesty with the creamy flavour element!
For example Lemon + Blueberry, Vanilla Choc Raspberry, Macadamia Caramel and Lime, Mango Passionfruit and Vanilla - there are so many fun options!!!
We also offer complimentary coulis (berry sauce) with our cakes to increase the fresh zesty flavour profile for when the cake is served to ensure it's a delicious experience had by all ;)
Is it possible to have a cake, cookies and donuts or is that too OTT?
