The Cubana Resort offers a unique, versatile wedding venue, whether you're planning a formal, romantic wedding, or a stylish yet relaxed beach wedding, The Cubana Resort is a perfect backdrop. A spacious, level grass area allows for an easy set up for guest seating and there is an abundance of scenery for photo opportunities around the 5 acres of gardens. In case of inclement weather, our separat bar area can be sectioned off and decorated with wedding curtains, an arbour and your own personal touches. 

With bright pops of colour peering out from behind the venue’s picturesque, palm tree-dotted property, intimate garden nooks, and an impressive bar and restaurant, this venue really has it all. Not to mention the glamorous velvet lounges, festoon-lit deck, and fireplace for when you want added coziness. 

The Cubana wedding packages are all-inclusive, with wedding parties having exclusive private use of the resort’s accommodation & Restaurant facilities. The Cubana creates truly private wedding experiences with personalised touches, restaurant is bright & spacious with pops of colour & sophistication.

You can host a pre-wedding pool party, or a post-wedding recovery breakfast, or both! Making the most of your exclusive time at the resort.  

While the sun is setting enjoy our beautiful timber deck overlooking our lilypad filled pond & after dark the festoon lighting is pure magic. The Cubana & its grounds offer many intimate & interesting on day photographic opportunities.

My husband and I have owned and operated The Cubana Resort Nambucca Heads since 2019. In that time, we have undergone major renovations and have refurbished all rooms, reception and restaurant area, as well as introduced a gym and day spa.
