Yes I do think a necklace and drop earrings will go well together. They look so elegant and match well. But try to make it work with your hairstyle as well you do not want the two to clash. 

Hi darling, congratulations on your wedding. I think the earrings and necklace combo can be done but the necklace needs to be fine and understated. If they are both statement pieces I tend to think it might be a bit matchy-matchy or a bit too much. It is hard to comment without seeing what you have in mind though.
