About
I have been sewing since I was 5, engaging in formal training at 29. After a time in a South Yarra Bridal Boutique, I returned to study costume design & worked on professional productions of Disney's Beauty & the Beast, Singing in the Rain & Pageant. I have designed over 50 theatrical productions & worked on fashion parades for Chanel, Australian Fashion Week, Melbourne Fashion Festival, Myer, Royal Botanic Runway & Melbourne Fashion Week, where Empire Room was launched in 2013.

Certainly not.
Every Empireroom piece is custom made. Completely hand made for every client, each piece takes 2-3 weeks to create from the time you pay, to the time it is ready to ship. No two pieces are identical as they are made just for you.
If you like our style, but haven't found the perfect piece to complement your outfit, please contact us to work on an individually designed piece.
Each design will be inspired by your personal style & the theme of your wedding or event.
Be prepared to tell us about who you are & what you like. Once we have agreed on a design, a custom listing will be created for you & work will begin on your piece, once the payment has been received.
Individually designed pieces usually require 4-8 weeks to include: the design process, sourcing materials & construction time.
We custom make each piece, so sometimes when we are quite busy & it may not be possible.
Please contact us as soon as possible to discuss a rushed order & we'll do our best to help. An additional fee will be required in this situation. We made an overnight veil for for a bride in November.
Hopefully there will never be a need for a refund. I try to keep all my customers smiling, but in the event that you are not completely happy with your piece please contact me within 7 days of delivery & I will endevour to solve any problems.
Please contact us immediately if a package is damaged in transit.
As every Empireroom item is made to order, change of mind refunds are not available.
It is the customers responsibility to return items within 14 days, suitably packaged & shipped via a tracking method. Empireroom will not be responsible for items lost in the mail.
Empireroom is about creating beautifully designed pieces & garments.
While we may be influenced by the work of other designers, we respect the effort & creativity of others & will not accept a commission to reproduce another designers work.
Feel free to provide images of Vintage outfits or headpieces for us to use as inspiration.
